Printing Issues of Bordered Forms (DDE errors with Adobe)

Follow the steps for one of the options below IF your printing is resulting in an Acrobat Adobe error or printing results in a blank page:

   OPTION #1:

  1. Open IowaDocs® Library.
  2. Click on Options under the Tools menu.
  3. Click on the "Form Documents" folder.
  4. Under the Printing section, on the right, change the setting "Print PDF Based Forms using:" to "HotDocs" OR "Adobe Acrobat" (select the opposite of what your current setting is set to now)
  5. Try printing, if it prints the form fine then you can simply use the option you selected.

   OPTION #2:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader X (go to Start/All Programs)
  2. Click on Preferences under the Edit menu.
  3. Select the "Off" option for "Protected View".  Under the Security options. (See red box below for a visual of this option)
  4. Click OK.
